Music Theory Classes
Want to learn how to read music? Understanding what the symbols mean is a great first step.
Music theory classes will be conducted on zoom, in a group setting. Starting at the foundation of the musical alphabet and building up from there, we will interactively explore the structure behind some of your favorite pieces and give you the tools to start creating on your own.
Group Classes (Seasonal)
Learning is often done best in community. While private instruction has many benefits, music can be enjoyed in many more ways when done with others.
Group classes can include:
- Violin/Viola Groups*: Practice performing with, and for, others in a comfortable environment with your peers. *Group placement dependent on level/ability.*
- Musicianship classes: learn basic aural skills, music theory, and ethnomusicology with others, at a pace that works for you.
